How to return Astound equipment

Need to return your Astound equipment? This article outlines four simple steps to make your returns using free pre-paid FedEx shipping labels.

1. When to return Astound equipment

Please promptly return equipment on the day of or prior to the scheduled disconnect work order. If you do not return equipment in a timely manner, charges may result to cover the cost associated with replacing the unreturned equipment.

2. What to return

Equipment is defined as:

    • Converter Boxes: including 2 Tuner, 4 Tuner and 6 Tuner DVR Powered by TiVo, Every Room Powered by TiVo, TiVo Preview, HD/DVR Converter Box, HD Converter Box, and Digital Converter Box

    • Cable Modems: including Modem, WiFi Router, Modem & WiFi Router, 1 Gig Modem, and Enhanced Whole Home Wifi

Astound Broadband appreciates your efforts to return our equipment. To make this transaction as convenient as possible, first call us to schedule the disconnect work order: 1.800.427.8686.

Equipment can be returned by:

    • Visiting a Local Office in your area – please call 1.800.427.8686 before visiting to ensure your equipment can be received at that location.
    • Prepaid Shipping: we will provide you with a prepaid FedEx shipping label to send the equipment back. Please see instructions below.

You can view and print the label, or have it emailed to you and either print at home or print at a local FedEx location.

Once you have obtained your label:

    • Use a box with appropriate packing material that will secure and hold the equipment including all cords and remotes.
    • Affix the mailing label.
    • Make note of your tracking number.
    • Drop it off at any FedEx location.
